Airlines in Cyprus



Cyprus Airlines includes Cyprus Airways, Eurocrypia Airlines and FOS Logistics. Cyprus Airways is the national airline of Cyprus.

Eurocrypia Airlines was set up on 12th June in the year 1991. The head quarter of Eurocrypia Airlines is located at Larnaca. This was the first charter airline to begin operations in Cyprus. On 25th June 1992 it started functioning with two new Airbus A320 aircrafts. During 2003 the airbus fleet of Eurocrypia Airlines was substituted by Boeing 737-800. The destinations covered by Eurocrypia Airlines include London, Dublin, Hanover, Newcastle, and so on.

The cargo airline FOS Logistics is based in Nicosia. In the year 2004 this airline was set up. The functioning of this airline commenced from 12th February 2005. Freight services are operated by this airline. Europe, Far East and Asia are connected by this airline. The fleet of FOS Logistics comprises of Antonov An-12.

Cyprus Airways was established on 24th September 1947. This is the national airline of Cyprus. It began functioning with Douglas DC-3 aircraft from 18th April 1948. The destinations covered by this airline are Dubai, Moscow, Manchester, Amsterdam, Rhodes, Frankfurt, etc. Boeing 737-800, Airbus A330-200, A320-200, are the fleet of Cyprus Airways.

Cyprus Airways and Helios Airways are the airlines in Cyprus. CY is the airline code of Cyprus Airways and ZU is the airline code of Helios Airways.
