A man of versatility, Peter Kozler was a lawyer, businessman, geographer and a renowned cartographer. Peter Kozler hailed from Koce, Slovenia. However, according to some sources he was a German by birth.
Peter Kozler rose to fame with his production , Zemljovid Slovenske Dezele in Pokrajin. Another of his acclaimed works is Kratki Slovenski Zemljpis. Kozler was also involved with politics and was sent to prison by the Austrian , Hungarian authorities. He died in the late nineteenth century.
