Nyanga National Park



Nyanga National Park is situated at the northern side of the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe. It is a small park that oversees the valley of Honde. The main tourists spots in this national park are the water falls like the Mtarazi Falls on the southern line of Nyanga Park and Nyangombe Falls that are actually quite captivating. This park has some breath taking natural spots like the cabins made out of logs which becomes the dwelling places of many enthusiastic travelers during the months of winter. This national park of Zimbabwe was named after Sanyanga, a doctor who have been said to practice witchcraft.

WILDLIFE IN NYANGA NATIONAL PARK



The Nyanga national park of Zimbabwe abounds in wild animals like lions, buffaloes, kudu, hyena, leopards and other carnivorous animals. The Nyanga park is popular for samango monkeys and blue duiker. Tourists coming from various countries are mesmerized with the beauty of the greenery all around. Gulliver lake, Rhodes dam and Nyanga Dams within Nyanga National park have been famous places of tourist interest. The steep mountains that surface the Nyanga national park are home to flowers of different kinds. These mountains are densely populated with vegetation of all kinds and they have their own history to tell that dates back to the early 19th century.
