Yemen health conditions can be analyzed from factors such as life expectancy rates, death rates, annual expenditures on health and so on. People of Yemen are known to have the shortest life span. The expected average age of males at the time of birth in Yemen is 59 years, whereas the same for females is 62 years. On the other hand, the healthy life expectancy rate at birth of Yemen males is 48 years, whereas the same for females is 51 years.
As per the Census of the year 2005, the current population of Yemen is 20,675,000. In the recent times, many diseases at Yemen have spread including acute hemorrhagic fever, rift valley fever, poliomyelitis, hepatitis A, typhoid, yellow fever, typhoid and so on. To control the spread of these diseases and improve the health conditions in Yemen, qualified physicians and well trained nurses are required.
