This local currency can be imported and exported up to YR2000 for the residents. In Yemen, no restrictions are imposed on the foreign currencies import. However, if the arrived amount exceeds US$3000, it should be informed.
The banking hours within which a person can deposit or draw Yemen Currency is from 8.30A.M to 12.00 P.M during Saturday to Wednesday and in Thursdays from 8.00 A.M to 11.30 A.M.
