The Virginia Department of Education's School Division Pavilions is the main state-owned agency responsible for administering all
Virginia schools. It is also this School Division Pavilions which is responsible for devising academic programs that need to be followed in Virginia's elementary and secondary schools. For better administration and management, the School Division Pavilions has divided all schools according to their region of location within the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth of Virginia also has a separate provision for the Governor's School program which provides educational opportunities to meritorious students in special governor's schools.
