The Georgia River Map provides comprehensive information on the important rivers and lakes of the state. The Eastern Continental Divide has sub-divided the State of Georgia into two geographical halves of eastern Georgia and western Georgia. Eastern and western Georgia falls in the watershed region of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico respectively. River Savannah, River Chattahoochee and River Suwannee flow through the State of Georgia. Lake Harding, Lake Sidney Lanier, Walter F. George Reservoir, Lake Seminole and West Point Reservoir are some of the man made lakes on River Chattahoochee.
