Slovakia Religion

The numerous churches in Slovakia are a proof of Christianity being the mostly followed religion of the country. Slovakia Religion includes Roman Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, Calvinist Church, etc.

During the year 1910, 95 % people of Slovakia were Roman Catholic. During the year 1921 the rates of Roman Catholic were 82 % in Slovakia. In Slovakia the rate of Roman Catholic was 79 % in the year 1930. In the year 2001 the Rate of Roman Catholic in Slovakia was 27 %. The Sunday Mass of Slovakia is attended by only 4% people. Slovakia had 73 % Catholics, 7 % Lutherans and 2 % Calvinists during the year 2001.

Among Slovak Christians are divided into three groups and they are-

Among the Religion of Slovakia 68.9% population have an affiliation with Roman Catholic Church, 6.9% have an affiliation with Evangelic Church of Augsburg, 4.1% have an affiliation with Greek-Catholic Church, 2.0% have an affiliation with Reformed Christian Church, and 0.9% has an affiliation with Orthodox Church. 13% people did not have any religious affiliation.

Some of the other religions which are practiced in Slovakia are Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. Most of the people in Slovakia have been baptized.
