In case of a three room flat, the numbers of bedrooms are 2 comprising of about 1000 sq.ft. A four room flat has 3 bedrooms of 1200 sq.ft area. A five room flat has an area of 1400 sq.ft. Finally the executive class flats have 3 rooms but are relatively larger than any other unit. Some of these executive flat are double storey with rooms on the second level.

The rest of 20% population of Singapore lives in private housing in Singapore like the apartments, condominiums, and landed properties. Singapore apartments and condominiums are on sale or lease from time to time.
