Around July and August, the waves tend to be the highest in the North west frontiers of Seychelles. Though tourists are advised to stay away during this season from the north western beaches, it is ideal place to be for expert surfers.
The North West Trade Winds in Seychelles: These winds that prevail from October to April cause the heaviest rainfall in Seychelles. These winds are more balmier than rough. They make the weather rather pleasant though causing heavy rainfall. The dense forest vegetation in Seychelles owes it to these Nor-wester winders.
