During the period of the horrendous genocide of
Rwanda newspapers played a major role. Killings of Tutsi tribes were incited by media by printing very volatile matter. Newspapers were used as instruments to mobilize the brutal massacre of the genocide of Rwanda. Everything was done in a very systematic way so as to fuel maximum killings. It was done at the behest of the then government officials. Media of the westerns countries stood as silents spectators beholding this irresponsibility of the
