Peru Visa like any other country follows some basic rules and requirements and they are categorized as per the requirements of the individuals. All the tourists previously have to contact the Peruvian consulate in order to know Peru visa information as it may change prior to notice even. The tourists Peru Visa is generally given for 90 days and if the visitors need an extended visa then an application has to be lodged to the Direccion General de Migraciones. The British, Irish nationals and EU countries do not require visa while traveling to Peru for a maximum of 90 days. Nationals from South American countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador Guyana, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname & Venezuela can remain in Peru without visa up to 90 days. Other countries namely North America, Central America, Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Africa even doesn't require visa for the period of 90 days.

The requirement of the tourist Peru visa is given below:
  • Individual's valid passport
  • 2 colored passport size photograph
  • Either the return ticket to Peru or a letter of guarantee from the travel agent mentioning the arrival dates along with the departure date from Peru.
  • 2 visa forms filled and signed
  • A fee of £ 21.60
People traveling for business purpose has to issue a business visa and that period is even for a maximum of 90 days .Minimum time period of 24 hours is required for the issue of Visa. The resident working Peru visa is also applicable and the employers have to request it from the Peruvian migratory authorities and a yearly working visa is issued by them in a minimum of 24 hours. The fee required for the working Peru visa is £ 57.60.

Legalization process is further carried on and all the required documents need to be legalized previously by the foreign office and then they are sent to the Peruvian consulate. The Peruvian consulate only legalizes signatures of the notary publics. Students' visa is also applicable for a longer stay according to the Peru visa requirements.
