Macedonian Language is the recognized official language of the Republic of Macedonia. It is sort of Slavic language and has many other dialectical diversions. It belongs to the Indo-European group of languages and is of south Slavic type. This language enlisted is among the modern European languages. Interestingly, it is also considered a Balkan language. Macedonian language is spoken in many parts of Europe, especially the places inhabited by the ethnic Macedonians, in Australia, Canada and the United States of America.
The language of Macedonia is written in Cyrilic and some times in Roman alphabets. In the modern times, the Roman alphabets are mostly avoided. The Cyrilic code was introduced by the St. Methodus and St. Cyril and was name after the later. That was in the 9th century. It is believed that the disciples of these saints at the monastery of Ohrid had developed this code of writing the Macedonian language. The words of the Macedonian language is differently stresses but the last part of the word is hardly ever stressed. There are 31 letters in the list of the Macedonian alphabet.
The literary language of Macedonia is a more refined variation used for writing purpose. The grammatical rules were laid down sometimes in the 15th century. They infrastructure if this language laid in the dialects of the Prilep, Bitola and Veles people.
