The present Macedonia President is Mr. Branko Crvenkovski. His birth date is 12th October 1962. He was born in Sarajevo. He is an important personality in the government and politics of Macedonia. His political career has been very prominent from the very beginning. He became the President Macedonia on 28th May in 2004.
Branko Crvenkovski has studied Information Technology and Automation in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje. He is a family man with wife and two children. His political career can be traced from the year 1990 onwards. He achieved the position as the first President of Foreign Affairs Committee in the Assembly. He also took initiative for the referendum for Republic of Macedonia's independence.
In 1991, Crvenkovski became the President of Social Democratic Union. In the following year, Crvenkovski became the Prime Minister of Macedonia. He was re elected as the Prime Minister of the country for a second time in 1994. In the Assembly, he was also the leader of the main opposition group.
The Macedonia President has remained President of the Socialist Democratic Union of Macedonia. He had been elected to the post for four times. But he could no longer function in the same post once he became the Macedonia President.
