Skopje is the place where most of the industries of Macedonia are situated. In the year 2006, the growth rate of production in
Macedonia industry was estimated to be around 3.4%. The government is planning to increase the output of these industries as well as establish some more industries at Macedonia.
Another advantage of increasing the number of industries at Macedonia is that employment opportunities would also increase which would lead to the development in the per capita income. This would automatically lead to the overall economic growth in Macedonia.
