Czech Ice Hockey is definitely the most popular and favorite game of the country. Although the Canadians were the inventors of the game, the passion for Czech Ice Hockey surpasses any other country. The pages of history reveals that it was back in the 20th Century that Ice Hockey was played in Bohemia. However, then it was grossly different kind of a game.
Czech Ice Hockey touched its first base of success in the year 1947 when the National team of Czech Ice hockey for the first time won an International Championship. Ever since then the history of Czech Ice Hockey has come a long way and today Czech Ice Hockey team is one of the top Ice Hockey teams in the world.
The Mens National team of
Czech Ice Hockey is supervised by the Czech Ice Hockey Association. The series of victory of the Czech Ice Hockey National team began with their victory in the World Championship in 1996 followed by the Gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. There was a slog period from 2001 to 2004. But again in the years 2005 and 2006, Czech Ice Hockey emerged victorious.
