Burundi sports and entertainment activities form an integral part of Burundi culture. Kivivuga amazina, a special form of poetry contest, is extremely common among the cattle herders. Children enjoy riddles and playing various indoor and outdoor games. “Horo” is a kind of ball game usually played by the girls. One of the ancient games namely “urubugu” is quiet famous among Burundians of all age group.
