The individual and team sport of tennis in Burkina Faso is under the official jurisdiction of Fédération Burkinabé de Tennis or FBT. The country has produced a few quality international tennis players.
The west African country of Burkina Faso has participated in a number of international tennis tournaments. The standard of tennis in Burkina Faso has not measured up to the international competing standard. The success of the Burkina Faso tennis team is very limited. The country has participated in the prestigious Davis Cup tennis tournament since 2001. The best result that was achieved by the team participants was a second place in the Group IV pool in 2003. The west African country has stopped participating in the Davis Cup tournaments since that year.
