Botswana National Football Team is presently under the guidance of Colwyn Rowe. The Botswana National Football Team is popularly known as “The Zebras” or the EZIMBIZI and is currently under the control of the Botswana Football Association. Although the Botswana National Football Team has never made it to the finals of the Football World Cup or the final rounds of African Nations Club, nevertheless, there has been a considerable improvement in their quality of play and performance, lately.

Some of the significant names in the Botswana National Football Team are Tshepiso Molwantwa, Mogogi Gabonamong, Dipsy Selolwane, Modiri Marumo, Dirang Moloi, Moemedi Moatlhaping, Pontsho Moloi, Ndiapo Letsholathebe, Ernest Amos, Michael Mogaladi and Tshepo Motlhabankwe. There are three major football clubs in Botswana by the names of Botswana Defense Force XI, Mogoditshane Fighters and the Gaborone United. The most preferred venue for the conduct of the matches of Football in Botswana is the Botswana National Stadium, with the FA Challenge Cup (Botswana) being the most significant football tournament of the country.

The National Football Team of Botswana is ranked at the ninety sixth position by the FIFA and at one hundred and twenty three according to the ELO ranking. The National Football Team in Botswana received their lowest FIFA ranking of 165th position in the year 1999, while that of the highest being 96 in 2007.
