Benin AIDS is one of the major health care issues in this west African land. The United States Agency for International Development or the USAID, declared in the year 2002 that more than three million dollar AIDS activity are going n the entire country of Benin. Some of the chief features of these
Benin AIDS activities include the following objectives:
- Collecting funds for the development of an all new HIV/AIDS prevention program in the entire country
- The social marketing of the preventive measures like the condoms,
- Surveys of the behavioral surveillance
- Direct support towards the PNLS
The USAID or the Benin AIDS is working towards the increase of the various kinds of health seeking behavioral patterns. This would in a way automatically reduce the chances of the risky patterns as is common among the patients suffering from this deadly disease. The USAID has undertaken this Benin AIDS prevention program by providing a healthy environment and a supportive policy among the patients.
The Benin AIDS program is also working towards an increase in the products and the services, apart from improving the quality and the management of the preventive measures. Attention is also being given in the region of modifying the products, services and the preventive measures regarding the control of AIDS in Benin.
